Loved the fantastic bathroom, but those stairs were a real workout!

Charming stay in a lively area

The wonderful staff made the check-in experience seamless, and the room was spotlessly clean with a comfy bed that ensured great sleep. The location was superb, close to major attractions and local restaurants.

However, be prepared for the challenge of climbing three flights of worn stairs without an elevator. The thin walls also allowed for quite a bit of noise from neighboring rooms.

A cozy little space with great character.

The stairs were a real concern. old and worn, I found myself hesitating each time I needed to ascend or descend. With four floors to climb, it felt daunting and impacted my movements around the hotel. Additionally, the windows could not be opened for fresh air, as the smell from the restaurant below was overwhelming, making my stay quite uncomfortable.

The location, the cleanliness, the ambiance was simply remarkable.

The fourth floor access without an elevator made lugging baggage a real hassle, and the wooden staircase showed signs of neglect, posing a potential safety risk. Noise from outside trickled into the room due to thin walls, and the mattress was excessively soft, leading to discomfort during sleep. One downside was the thin blanket provided, more akin to a sheet, leaving me uncomfortably chilly at times.

The Casa De Huespedes Dolce Vita is a gem located in the heart of vibrant Madrid! With its colorful interiors and modern amenities, the atmosphere is both inviting and cozy. The location is unbeatable, just a stone’s throw from Chueca and Gran Via Metro Stations—perfect for indulging in the local tapas bars and lively nightlife. Also, the room was clean and comfy, featuring a TV and a nice seating area, making it feel like a little home away from home.

The double room I stayed in was super comfy and spotlessly clean! The bathroom was also really nice, and I loved the cute decor. Spotlessly clean and super convenient!

I stayed for 3 nights and loved how central everything was. Just a short walk from Gran Via and two metro stations, it was so easy to explore Madrid. The room was always clean, and I enjoyed the hot shower. On the downside, climbing three flights of stairs every time was a bit taxing, especially with my luggage.
